the project:
- Numerous effects cause systematic errors in high-throughput-screening and therefore reduce the data quality significantly. These effects result in false positives or false negatives. Approaches to overcome this problem by assuming certain characteristics or a functional behaviour (e.g. linear relationships) can cover only a minority of all possible and real scenarios.
the goal:
- to develop a tool for the detection and numerical elimination of systematic errors occurring during the high-throughput screening (HTS)
the data:
- problem-oriented data were generated for this purpose
the results:
- A tool has been developed that, only given the measurement values, can split the signals into a systematic part and an erratic-like part caused by the compounds.
