the project:

-	the Institute for Advanced Technology (IAT), Austin Texas, was tasked by the US army to present Matrix with a challenging problem.

the goal:

-	demonstrate proof of concept.
1	An algorithm able to predict and complete an incoming and highly non-linear time series. Matrix was asked to discover the model behind the data.
2	The generating differential function behind the time series.

the data:

Two time series were presented to Matrix.

the results:

-	Solution to the first problem was delivered by Matrix within two months. Matrix discovered a model within the data set and was able to accurately complete the missing data. The model predicted the trajectory of a missile simulating and provided an analytical description of the given data.
-	Together with a Sparta Inc., a leading US-based defense constructor, a solution to the second problem was delivered four months later. The team was able to discover an Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) within the data set.
