Chief Executive Officer - Sion Balass
Mr. Balass holds an engineering degree from the University of London. As the founder of a management consultancy company providing business development, sales and marketing services to start-ups, Mr. Balass has acquired comprehensive experience in early stage company development and commercialisation in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Through work experience in the UK, Germany, Israel and Russia, Mr. Balass has developed a global network of contacts and a reputation as a dynamic and creative business builder and entrepreneur.

Chief Technology Officer - Dr. Marcel Thürk
Dr. Thürk is a specialist in the field of theoretical biochemistry and biophysical chemistry. He is the creator of the unique form of artificial innovation which forms the foundation of Matrix technology, and which was based on his doctoral thesis completed under the tutelage of Nobel Prize winner Dr. Manfred Eigen. Dr. Thürk has extensive commercial experience in the area of data analysis, having worked as head of algorithmic chemistry for Evotec, a German-based drug discovery company. Dr. Thürk was instrumental in the formation of Matrix, where he has led the scientific development of the company's activities.

Maj. Gen (ret) Jacob Amidror
Has served with the Israel Defense Force (IDF) for 36 years, garnering much experience and knowledge regarding strategic planning and international policy, particularly with reference to the Middle East. During his long military career, he was Commander of IDF Military Colleges, including The National Defense College, staff and command college and junior (tactical) command acadamy. He also served as Military Secretary for the Minister of Defense and was Director of Intelligence Analysis Division, responsible for National Intelligence Assessment.
He received a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Haifa and various other degrees and certificates from IDF colleges.
General Amidror currently serves as Vice President of Lander Institute, an academic center in Jerusalem. He is a member of the boards of several large Israeli companies as well as numerous high-tech start-ups. He has also served as Senior Research Fellow to the Institute for Middle East Research in Washington.

Dr. Yoram Romem
Has more than 25 years of management experience in the global hi-tech industry. He was the President, CEO and Chairman of leading software companies (e.g. Sapiens, ESI, Transtech), participated in serveral IPOs in Nasdaq, served as the CIO of the Israeli Air-Force, and is considered to be one of the leading executives of the Israeli hi-tech industry. He serves currently as a chairman of several advanced hi-tech companies. Dr. Romem received his Computer Science B.Sc. Cum Laude from the Technion, Haifa and his Ph.D. from Bar-Illan University.

Prof. Zion Ben Rafael
One of Israel's leading obstetrics and gynecology specialists. Prof. Ben Rafael is a full professor of medicine at Tel Aviv University and the author of over 350 publications and text books.

Berel Rodal
Has since 1990 provided strategic and management advice to companies, think tanks, governments, and non-governmental policy bodies, and serves/ed on the boards of growth-oriented, innovative technology companies in North America, Europa, and Asia. His professional experience as a senior offical in the government included serving in the Department of External Affairs and in Cabinet/Privy Council Office in the Government of Canada; as Secretary of the Steering Committee on national unity in the Cabinet Office during the period of the (first) Quebec referendum; as Director-General of the Policy Secretariat in the Department of National Defence; and as a member of Canada's negotiating team in the Canada-US Free-Trade negotiations. He serves as Vice Chair of the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, based in Washington,DC. He is a founder of the North American Forum. He has lectured in Canda, the U.S., Europe and Asia on international political and security addairs, strategy and globalisation, and the state and governance issues, among other subjects. He is the author of a number of publications on these subjects. He was educated at and holds degrees from McGill University and Balliol College, Oxford.
