The Institute for Advanced Technology (IAT), Austin Texas, was tasked by the US army to present Matrix with a challenging problem, to demonstrate proof of concept.
Two time series were presented to Matrix seeking:
1. An algorithm able to predict and complete an incomplete and highly non-linear time series. Matrix was asked to discover the model behind the data.
2. The generating differential function behind the time series
Solution to the first problem was delivered by Matrix within two months. Matrix discovered a model within the data set and was able to accurately complete the missing data. The model predicted the trajectory of a missile simulation and provided an analytical description of the given data.

Together with a leading scientific team from Sparta Inc, a leading US based defense contractor, a solution to the second problem was delivered four months later. The team was able to discover an Ordinary Deferential Equation (ODE) within the data set.

Matrix together with the Sparta team received a powerful endorsement letter for the technology by the IAT strongly recommending government agencies to work with Matrix. Due to the overwhelming success of the project Matrix and Sparta formed a collaboration for the provision of solutions to both the US and European markets.
Extracts of the technology endorsement letter from the IAT:
The IAT is highly impressed with the IAACs* technical capabilities as well as the solution they provided for what, at times, appeared to be a nearly impossible PoC problem to solve.
Without hesitation, the IAT strongly recommends the IAAC to potential US government sponsors and is ready to work with the IAAC to pursue funding for future collaborative projects within the US security guidelines.
